WordPress admin login page
In order to access the dashboard of WordPress, first, you need to login. To login, type the complete address of your website + /wp-admin. For example, in the image above, the complete address of our website is demo.wordpress.com. So, to access the login page, we need to type in the URL box the complete address of our website plus the /wp-admin. It will also work just by putting /admin.
If the complete address of your website is www.mybusiness.com, then you need to concatenate /wp-admin to your complete address to make it www.mybusiness.com/wp-admin.
Once you get to the login page, you need to provide your user authentication to be able to access your WordPress dashboard. You might also like to tick Remember Me in order for your browser to remember you once you get back to the site. If you tick Remember Me, you will be automatically logged in once you access the site or the login page.
Remember: Only tick Remember Me when you are using a personal computer or any computer that you trusted to use.
WordPress dashboard
Now, after logging in, we are presented with a nice standard-looking WordPress dashboard. You can see a little bit of WordPress news and other elements here. Nothing much on the dashboard yet since we haven’t created any pages, posts, forms, or anything like that.
